Germany's Beautiful Historic Cities and Towns

Germany's small historic cities and towns are becoming more popular destinations for international visitors as the market for city breaks grows. The German National Tourist Board has launched a marketing campaign and brochure for 2003 with the theme "Enchanting Towns in Germany - Feel the Romance, Enjoy the Culture". A total of 101 of Germany's most beautiful and alluring towns are featured - from the former Roman city of Xanten in the West, to Görlitz on the Polish border, and from Husum on the North Sea to Lindau on the shores of Lake Constance in the South.
